Confirmation 2009

The dates for the Confirmation meetings are as follows:-

The meetings will start at 6.15pm after 5pm Mass, and will finish at 8.45pm. 

A light supper will be served at the beginning of each session.

Sunday 8th February       Session 1 

Sunday 22nd February    Session 2

Sunday 1st  March           Session 3

Sunday 8th March            Session 4      

Sunday 15th  March         Session @ Brentwood Cathedral

Programme

Candidates need to meet at the Cathedral at 2.30pm. The programme is as follows:-  (you do not need to stay for the Mass at 6.30pm.)
 
15:00   Reception of Candidates for Confirmation by Bishop Thomas.
16.00   Refreshment break – Cathedral Hall.
16.30   Fr Stan Fortuna (the Rapping Priest) presents to young people taking the theme of "Fanning the Spirit into a flame."
17.30   Refreshment break – Cathedral Conference Room.
18.30   Cathedral Parish Mass. Fr Stan to preside and preach, with the kind permission of Mgr Bill Nix.  Mass open to young people and young adults from across the Diocese.  Priests are welcome to concelebrate.
19.30   Further input from Fr Stan Fortuna, with Q&A session.
20.30   Refreshments in Cathedral Conference Room – Parish groups depart.

Saturday 4th April            Session 7  All night Vigil @ Brentwood Cathedral Centre.  10:30pm start -> finishes @ 7:30am on Sun 5th April

Sunday 26th April            Session 8    

Sat 10th-Sun 11th May    Session 9           Retreat  

Sunday 17th May             Session 10         

Wednesday 20th May      Rehearsal for Confirmation

Sunday 31st May 2009    Confirmation Mass 11am
